GERTRUDE STEIN ANTHOLOGY BOOK
While designing this book, I started to imagine the words not as just written text but as total stream of consciousness. This encouraged my designs by allowing me to pull out, separate, repeat, and string together pieces of incomprehensible text, making it easier to digest and understand. In the repetition of some pages I found that although these blocks of text may seem intimidating, they are beautiful. Gertrude Stein's poems are sporadic and unplanned which allowed me to add my own structure to something that originally did not intend on having one.
